Nature's Tablescapes

During the Fall season we seem to gravitate towards getting back outside. We long to wear our boots and sweaters and head to the outside fire pit. I think this is the perfect time of year to have a few friends over and entertain while sitting at a table full of nature's bounty.

Fresh greenery and flowers layered in with texture is the starting point for your tablescape. Add in interesting dishes or glassware and then experiment a bit. Now is the perfect time with Thanksgiving only a month away. Repeating elements such as glass vases, woven chargers or even antlers… these are a few touches to add to make your table extra special and your dinner guests delighted.

Set Your Table for Thanksgiving

Why blog about Thanksgiving now? Well... I don't know about you, but Fall just seems to fly by. We get so bogged down between Halloween and Christmas in the stores that we sometimes don't take the time to create ideas for a Thanksgiving tablescape.

It takes time to plan the menu, do the grocery shopping, start cooking and clean the house for our out of town family or guests. That's why now is the perfect time to start collecting some great ideas to create a beautiful table for Thanksgiving and not have to scramble at the last minute. I personally love pulling together natural elements like antlers, greenery, fruit, acorns or even feathers. They are wonderful additions that will showcase texture and color to your table. For great ideas, check out Pinterest or other websites to help get you started in designing the perfect tablescape for your celebration.
