Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String

...These are a few of my Favorite Things. You don't have to spend a lot of money to create beautiful packages to put under your tree. All you need is some jute string or a spool of baker's string and then it's time to create.

There are so many great ideas for packaging these days but one of my very favorites is to wrap with plain paper and add a great tag and a fresh green sprig. It can be a piece leftover from your Christmas tree or a snip off your rosemary plant. These added touches help to make your packages not only beautiful but they will also smell amazing. Sentimental Christmas pictures copied in black and white paper is a great personalized touch. Be sure to keep and eye out for some great tags, some great string, and stamps you love. Put your favorite pajamas on and grab a glass of wine and wrap away.

Holiday 101

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with your families and survived Black Friday. As we all know the countdown has started and it's time to get our houses ready for Christmas.

I'm not sure if you all are like me but every December I try to figure out new ways to decorate for the holidays. Maybe it's the designer in me but I always love looking at pictures to inspire me to change things up a bit. Above are some examples of vignettes that I thought were super cute. I especially like to incorporate fresh greens into my home and I also use a few natural elements. I hope these pictures will inspire you to try something a little different as you unpack your Christmas boxes and get ready to start. Oh and most importantly don't forget to throw on your favorite holiday CD... ready, set, decorate!
