always knew she wanted to be a interior designer but as God always has a plan for us

                                  he gave me two gifts.…

One gift I pursued when I was young. I was a very good tennis player and I had an ability to communicate and teach. With a healthy body I played college tennis, coached college tennis and became a teaching pro and worked in the business for over 20 years.

But during a vacation on the beach in the British Virgin Islands I decided I wanted to become what I always wanted to be. It was time to be an Interior Decorator.

I was a girl that grew up cutting up her mother’s Ethan Allen catalogs and designing rooms. That was my passion. Designing with colors, textures and different patterns. I felt like I always looked at things differently from others.

I decided to strike out on my own and opening EHS Design in 2004. It is my passion, helping others achieve the look the want by giving them the ideas and confidence to move forward. I have always tried to design classic looks by using budget friendly ideas. It is exactly what I do in my own home.

Decorator Girl came about as a new way to enter the market showing the versatility of my design. I just launched it in 2011 and I am excited to reach clients that are looking for new ideas that reflect our changing times.
